Butchart Xmas
We began the 2016 Xmas season by doing something a bit different. We helped my wife's sister celebrate her 60th birthday by taking her to see Xmas at Butchart Gardens/
These folks put a lot of effort into decorating and lighting the place for Xmas, doing a first-class job of creating an Xmas theme. It looked like they enjoyed their work. It would be very hard for visitors to NOT get some Xmas Spirit.
Unfortunately, we visited before evening lights on the displays came on. Fortunately, the Gift Shop had a gift for me. The nicely decorated Xmas tree gave me a great chance to do some macro photography.
Xmas Day gave me another opportunity. While my wife and our son happily a new game that she got as a present, I was merrily snapping photographs of our Xmas tree ornaments. This ornament says it all.
